Metrics should help you act. For a small team, seven simple numbers are enough to see what is working.

  1. Calls made. The basic activity level per person per day.
  2. Calls answered. Shows list quality and calling times.
  3. Conversations held. Calls that lasted long enough to talk properly.
  4. Average call length. Very short and very long calls both deserve a look.
  5. Outcomes. How many calls ended as Interested, Follow-up, Not interested or No answer.
  6. Follow-ups completed on time. Shows whether promises are kept.
  7. Leads converted. The number that really matters.

How to use them

Look at the numbers weekly, not hourly. Compare people gently and use the numbers to find good habits worth sharing. If answer rates are low, try different calling times or cleaner lists.

Keep it fair

Numbers do not tell the whole story. A short call that books a meeting is better than a long chat that goes nowhere. Pair the metrics with call recordings where you use them, and follow the guidance in our post on recording and consent.

Where to find them

Dialsyx gives every user a dashboard with their activity and call logs with outcomes, so you can see these numbers without exporting spreadsheets.

A sample weekly review

  1. Open the call logs for the week.
  2. Check calls made and answered per person.
  3. Look at outcomes and follow-ups completed.
  4. Pick one habit to improve next week.
  5. Share one good example with the whole team.

Do not chase vanity numbers

A high number of calls means little if few become conversations. Keep your eye on outcomes and conversions, and use activity numbers only to make sure the basics happen. The best metric is the one that helps your team make a better decision tomorrow.
